Welcome to the city of Machi Koro, the Japanese dice game conquering the world.
You've just been elected mayor. Congratulations! Unfortunately, your citizens have some big demands: jobs, a theme park, a couple of cheese factories, and maybe even a radio tower. Tough task since your city currently only consists of a wheat field, a bakery, and one die.
Armed with a die and your dream, you must develop Machi Koro into the largest city in the region. Generate income from developments, build public works, and steal from your neighbors' treasury. But make sure they don't do the same to you!
More about Machi Koro
It's a fast dice game where players build their own city with building cards. Each player starts with two starting buildings and four landmarks. The remaining building cards are placed as an open supply. On your turn, roll the die (initially 1, later optionally 2). The rolled number determines which building is activated. The color of an activated building determines when and by whom it pays out. Some buildings also activate during other players' turns. With your money, you can buy a new building from the supply or activate one of your landmarks at the end of your turn. Landmarks not only provide extra benefits during the game (including a second die when you activate your train station) but the player who first activates their fourth landmark wins the game.
